Backup before root related works

Backup before Root related works:-

Rooting your device is quite dangerous if anything goes wrong, I will not responsible for this. Do at your own risk.After rooting your device you can go for some root related things, but before that, you have to take some backups, in case if anything goes wrong, you can restore your device.Here is a list of things you must backup before any root work-

1.Backup total system:-

You can backup your total system with data using root. For that, you need a custom recovery. Using a custom recovery you can create a full backup of your system.

2.Backup IMEI:

This is a most common problem that can happen when you using root works.So for backup that-
  • Download any root explorer, click here for download root explorer.
  • Go to root>data>NVRAM.
  • Now copy the NVRAM folder on your sd card or PC.
  • If anything wrong happens like your IMEI is invalid or null then copy this NVRAM Folder from your sd card or PC to root>data>Nvram>Not copy this to System>data folder.
  • Then restart your device.
  • Now you restore your IMEI.

 3.Backup Build.prop file:

In one word build.prop file is your device ID proof. Which means this file content everything about your device.So, you must backup this file before any root-related work.For backup this file-
  • open root explorer.
  • Go to root/system/ folder.
  • Now select any copy the build.prop file on your sd card or PC.

4.Other files:

Other things which you need to backup are your contacts. SMS, photos, videos and other necessary things.
